Manage a book of business; the book of business being mostly “house” accounts.
Book includes 32 Accounts of one Producer; mostly Equipment Dealers, Auto Dealers & Powersports Dealers
Identify exposures (“field” underwriting) and provide appropriate insurance solutions to the customer
Analyze exposures for current clients; prepare comprehensive Renewal Summaries for review with customers
Work closely with internal departments: Claims, Accounting and Sales to achieve best outcome for client and agency.
Continue Education with desire to achieve a designation and/or maintain a designation
Follow all documentation procedures
Strong understanding and identification of potential Errors & Omissions situations
Qualifications and Experience:
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
New Hampshire Producer License is required
Knowledge and use of AMS360 preferred
Familiarity with ReferenceConnect and other Vertafore Products a plus
Experienced with underwriting process, ISO coding and basic rating plans, State Insurance Laws; Understanding of MA Auto, NHAIPSO and Surety/Bonds a plus
Consistent workmanship and taking accountability for work
Ability to adapt to changes in department workflows; re-prioritizing throughout the workday in stressful situations
Taking initiative in projects and/or working within a group
Appropriate professional designation(s) - CIC, AAI, CPCU, ARM a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with an agency or carrier handling commercial accounts.
Experienced user of MS Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel
High School Degree required; Additional Higher Education a plus
