My primary role over the last 20 years has been as a registered occupational therapist in various skilled nursing facilities, serving adults and their families/caregivers from all walks of life with diverse needs. I have maintained my license but wish to transition to a more remote non-clinical role, though I am open to a hybrid position if within a reasonable commute. Most recently I spent 7 months with a Healthcare startup in a remote position which taught me a great deal. I also have experience in a corporate setting in various capacities. My expertise is in customer service (connecting with people), documentation and communication, assessing individual’s needs, problem solving and implementing solutions.
I have a long-standing proven track record of professionalism, organization, enthusiasm for meeting goals, and self-motivation. I am familiar with medical terminology, and adept at managing accurate and timely completion of required documentation, including assessments, summaries, reports, and chart audits. I understand the importance of delivering services and information that are in compliance with company and overseeing body policies and regulations. I am comfortable researching and/or collaborating with providers and practitioners to collect and compile client information, construct schedules, and coordinate care.
