Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct specialized testing and evaluation of results

Works closely with site HR and Safety.
Responsible for compliance with medical aspects of OSHA and Medical Policies and Procedures
Assists and implements health awareness programs. (Depends on location)
Responsible for projects and duties delegated by the Medical Administrator
Act as a member of committees as delegated by Medical Administrator
Provide training as it applies to Occupational Health and Wellness
Provide coverage for the Medical Administrator in their absences
Insure maintenance and upkeep of site’s medical department and inventory control of medications and supplies
Maintain medical confidentiality: records, processes, and maintains current and accurate medical records for each employee

Establishes and maintains individualized treatment plans depending on patient need.
Works as an active member of the team and communicates with team members (physicians, therapists, administration, other departments etc.) regarding patient care issues.
Documents based on the SUN policies.
Coordinates and supervises patient care as necessary.
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. This includes competence in using electronic medical record and CPOE for all physician/Nurse Practitioner orders as well as wristband scanning prior to medication administration.
Functions as a patient and family advocate, at all times.

Utilizes proper protocols for the use of Seclusion and Restraint, and the requirements associated with it.
