Location: Onalaska, WI (Relocation required within 60 days of hire)


Business Unit:  Recycling & Material Recovery


Total Compensation: $170,000 - $230,000 total compensation annually 


Purpose & Summary: As the Vice President of our Recycling & Material Recovery Business Unit, you will operate as a CEO for the business unit, and a key member of Dynamic’s Executive Management Team.  In this position, you will be responsible for strategic leadership across multiple facilities and divisions.  Your oversight will include all sales, operations, safety, leadership/management, systems, culture, analytics, business oversight/P&L, execution, and business development of the business unit with a shared commitment to the company’s success, mission, and core values.  With a focus on authenticity, safety, empowerment, and betterment of people, this is an incredible opportunity to build a successful, progressive, high-performing culture and organization.  As the Vice President, you will be integral in ensuring we employ only the most brilliant, talented people with a desire to win and passion for what they do.


Day to day responsibilities may include:


Proactively protect and grow the Dynamic culture by living our values, mission, and vision
The setting, revisiting, and building on the business unit strategies (overall, sales, operations, compliance, etc.) and involvement in the companywide strategy and vision
Effectively lead the Recycling and Materials Recovery business units
Lead the business unit in best practices for hiring, training, leading, coaching, and developing the team directly and indirectly with a focus on developing internal talent
Collaboratively drive continuous improvement, innovation, and invention in the business units; maintaining and fostering curiosity and growth mindset
Optimize company structures, systems, and processes to drive short and long term results; operate the business on-going to perform at an industry-leading level
Participation and involvement at the highest level as part of Dynamic’s EMT (executive management team) to help drive company strategy, structures, and improvement
Final oversight and responsibility of all parts of the P&L statement, budgeting, customer profitability, and all financial matters; having the ability to think and act as a business owner through thinking creatively and driving long-term value for our customers and the business; to nurture a business mindset through all levels of the organization
On-going financial assessment of new projects and business opportunities to maintain financial discipline and maximize return
Continual risk/reward assessment, minimizing risks when possible
Focus on voice of the customer ensuring differentiation and value add


Requirements & Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Finance/Accounting, Sales, Business, Management or other related fields, and seven years of General Business Management experience. However, the additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Additional qualifications include:


Manufacturing, Operational, Sales and Marketing knowledge/experience
P&L responsibility of $40MM – $350MM and strong financial acumen
Proven track record developing best practices and workflows that drive safety
Analytical thinker, identifying process efficiency, and strategy development
Exceptional business acumen
Strong sense of urgency
Problem solver with a quick learning agility
Courageous and disciplined leader who has a strong vision for people and excellence
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to lean in and create constructive conflict for the best outcome
Active listener with high emotional intelligence
